Treiball

Treibball

Treibball is a dog sport that involves a dog pushing inflatable exercise balls into a goal guided by their handlers verbal and hand cues. This sport originated in Germany in 2005 as an urban herding activity and is low impact, suitable for dogs of all breeds, ages and physical conditions and provides mental and physical stimulation for your dog

I want to keep my dogs working and in good physical condition their entire lives, just because they’re getting a little bit older doesn’t mean that they have to stop having fun and learning. I discovered Treibball when I was looking for an activity to do with my 9 year old Border collie Trek and we have been having so much fun! I have been enjoying watching him learn new things as well as learning new things myself and even though he can no longer do certain sports he is still staying active and experiences the daily enrichment he deserves. Treibball is just fun! Give it a try and watch as your dog learns to herd, push and steer that ball!
