Trick Dog Class/Training Foundation

The Trick Dog class is where we start all of our students here at Action Dogs. We use the AKC Trick Dog format to teach our students how to train tricks that help you develop your training skills and if you wish, to work toward your AKC Trick Dog title. We utilize this trick training to help you develop excellent dog training skills. Because we can use different levels of skills from simple to complex in our trick training class, we can choose skills and behaviors to help you start at the most optimum level for you and your dog. Our approach is to get you as much success in your training as possible right away and then build on that positive foundation.

Ninety percent of the behaviors that you teach your dog in Trick Dog class will be utilized in some way in other areas of training such as Rally and Treiball. There’s just nothing about trick class that isn’t useful and besides that, it’s just a whole lot of fun!
